He invested in his first wind farm in 1996, has promoted Cleantech as a field for Venture Capital in Europe since 2003 and established the R2Pi consortium to identify best-of-breed Circular Economy business models and advise the European Commission in 2015.

He invested in his first wind farm in 1996, promoted Cleantech as a field for Venture Capital in Europe since 2003 and established the R2Pi consortium to identify best-of-breed Circular Economy business models and advise the European Commission in 2015.Alexis has been an early-stage investor and board member in a host of innovative green technology companies. He has also advised industrial companies on the Sustainability Assessment of their product portfolios and for others on designing and implementing a Circular Economy strategy.
